PRESERVES
Classes 55-62 must be made within the last 12 months & clearly labelled and dated. Re-used jars & non-branded screw lids are acceptable, wax discs essential on all jams, jellies, curds and chutneys.
55 Jam – one jar any variety

57 Curd – one jar any variety
58 Marmalade – one jar citrus fruit
59 Pickles – one jar any variety
60 Chutney – one jar any variety
61 Homemade Drink – one bottle, in a clear, non-branded, bottle, (e.g.parsnip wine, cider, plum rum, rhubarb wine, sloe gin, blackberry whisky, elderflower cordial, etc.)

CRAFTS

Ages 8 to 14 years
- Design a poster to promote the annual Duck Race, A4 size, hand drawn and coloured or digital.
- 4 Cupcakes, own recipe, will be tasted.
- Handicraft – (e.g. painting, drawing, knitting, sewing, jewellery, model, woodwork etc)
- A Model
DOMESTIC CLASSES
90 Victoria Sponge – Get Recipe
91 Any type of Shortbread – can be plain, chocolate, millionaires etc. 5 Pieces
92 An Artisan Loaf – homemade bread of your own choice, sweet or savoury, own recipe, not to be made in the breadmaker. Include a small card detailing the main ingredients/flavours
93 Open Tart or Flan, any size, any recipe. Include a small card to descibe
94 5 scones – one type i.e. plain, fruit or cheese, own recipe 2½“ [6.5 cms] cutter must be used. Include a small card stating variety.
95 Savoury Quiche – 9” (23cm) – homemade pastry case, own recipe.
